Good Morning and Happy New Year to all! This is my very first post although I've been enjoying this site for several months now. In Raymond, NH there is an Ace Hardware Store. Inside this hardware store (yes, inside) is a Ben Franklin Craft store. They have quite a nice selection of name brand fabrics. Some at the current going prices and lots of bargins. Every month there is a different color 20% off. Is this the kind of info you are looking for?

Fabric Depot in Portland is great. Another place I've found is in Rupert, Idaho called the Gathering Place. Knowledgeable staff and a good selection for a small town. When we travel (we are full-time RVers) I hit any quilt shop I can find. These are two of my favorites.
Two others I like : Quilter's Corner in Port Orford, Oregon. Debbie and Carol are so helpful. Quilt Expressions in Boise, Idaho, a newer store but good selection.
Another I found in Alaska this summer in Delta Junction is Quilted Cow. Recently had to get more fabric from them as I didn't purchase enough. Shipped it right away. And the Sew & Bee Cozy in Seward is nice, too. Better quit.

Our local shop is Betsy's Quilts, HC 83 Box 870, Antlers, OK 74523, 580-298-5821. Store is located 3 miles east of Antlers on Hwy. 3. She has a $1.25 table and a $2.25 table and really reasonable prices on everything else. Does custom machine embroidery and longarm quilting. GREAT PLACE!!

There is a great fabric warehouse in Batesville, Arkansas called Marshalls. There is a back area that is roped off and some people think they can't go back there, but anyone can. There are lots and lots of bolts back there. You do have to pay two separate people for purchases behind the rope and in front of the store where you purchase by the yard. Just ask!!! Just one example - VIP fabric is $1.95 per yard on bolts of approximately 5 yards. They have some name brand fabrics also.
