    Love them both, but I'm thinking I'd love to copy your snowball quilt! Like pumpkinpatchquilter said, I wouldn't have thought to add the cornerstones, and I think it makes that simple snowball pattern more interesting! I have a layer cake that I hadn't figured out what to do with and I'm looking for a quick, simple pattern. Think I found it! Thanks for posting!

    Oh, one more thing...how big did that snowball quilt end up being, if you don't mind my asking? :-)

    I think it ended up being 74.5 X 80. Give or take a few inches. I can't measure because I've already gifted it to my FIL.
