That poem is great and really deserves your prize and more! Candace from Elk Grove (of this board) put me on to Aurifil AND she let us all know about the Aurifil clearance at Tristan Threads. I got a great deal and this upgrade is really worth it. It's been easier to get that perfect 1/4" seam, there is noticably less lint in the bobbin area, and it just enjoyable to use and handle. I never thought thread mattered this much, but it DOES. I just bought Sarah Ann Smith's book Threadwork Unraveled and went to a thread seminar by Superior Threads. Instead of feeling like, ugh, this is one more thing I have to figure out and spend money on, I'm excited to learn how to get the best results for my money, effort, and TIME (most precious of all those). I was very pleased with the thread seminar btw, lots of info but not overwhelming, many myths dispeled, and no bashing other brands despite confidently promoting his brand.

You deserved to win. Your poem is really good and says what most of us really feel. Rather be quilting that cleaning or cooking or laundry. grin Congratulations.
