Our living room has a purple couch. Deep purple, auburgine, we love it, it is almost black in some light.

My DD has a purple bathroom. No purple in my house except the quilt I am working on which is pink and purple... guess who for.

Do you have anything purple in your house?
My daughter's bedroom is two shades of purple. We used the "magic" roller. Half goes in the dark paint and the other half goes in the lighter. They mix on the wall. The roller had a petal pattern to it. Then we brought in leaves and painted them with green paint and pressed them at random on the walls.

Yes! I love purple! I have a bathroom with purple in the wall paper, purple rugs and towels. Use it in my quilts, and as accent around the house!

My MIL had a friend that had a purple bathroom, she was quite proud of it...but when she tried to sell her house the real estate agent strongly recommended repainting it! :-D
My MIL has another friend who absolutely hates purple! She won't have it in her house!

In my last house I painted a feature wall purple in our bedroom. I loved it- it was very serene (think lilac rather than Barney purple). My kids all adore purple so I make little projects for them too, but now all our walls are plain and boring cream!

When we built our current house DH said I was in charge of colors for the rooms. If you ask DH he will say our bathroom is purple, but it is actually lavender. My towel is purple, DH refuses to use a purple towel, so his is green. LOL.
