Wow. you're mailing already, and I haven't finished mine yet.
I'm soo sorry, but I hope you'll think it's worth the wait. So far I've got 2 sides on and finished, all except the handsewing on one little scallop. Here's what I've got so far. Will be late, but will keep you updated on how late. Will be able to spend all day tomorrow handsewing, so that should help a bit.
    Here's a couple of pics.

    still to be stitched

Thaks, Patti. I will watch for it in the mail. I don't have any ideas with this one yet. I will have to let it talk to me for a while.

Linda, I love that! I really like the soft curves and think they add a great deal to this Americana/Australiana (is that a word?? ;-) ) quilt top - kind of like bunting on the 4th of July. Can't wait to see it finished. Chrys - the offer is still open . . . if you really can't live with this quilt, it can always come to my house!

Mary, I know whatever you add to mine will be wonderful. You do beautiful work!

Thanks for everyones input, I'm extremely happy with the way in this Americana/Australiana is working out. It is just as i envisioned it, even though it is taking me such a ong time. I'm hopeful it will be done by next weekend, and mailed Monday 20th. At least that's what I'm aiming for. Have almost completed sewing down the 3rd side, so that only leaves me one to finish, and then the 3 remaining corner scallops.Chrys, I know what you mean about being unable to wait to get the tops back. This has been such an exciting journey, and I waould like to thank you all for undertaking it with me.

I have Sewcornie's center at my house. It came in the mail today. I have a few ideas but I'm gonna let it hang on the design wall and think about it for a little while. Great job everybody on this one!

HELP! I'm posting a picture of what I've done for Bonnie's but I'm not in love with it at all. I've not had much experience working with neutral color pallettes and my confidence in what I'm adding is rapidly declining. I wanted to keep it simple so as not to compete with the two previous borders, but I afraid it looks like racing stripes. I've only attached one side and can easily take it off and start over. Or if you all (esp. Bonnie!) think it's fine, I will attach the remaining three sides and get it to the P.O. Please let me know what you honestly think. I won't be offended as I already have my doubts.
