At some stage I'll post a pic of the quilt I acquired this centre from. Looks nothing like it at all now. It's an asian symbol I think, but I've no idea what it means. It is very similar the the symbol for double happiness. I liked it, and thought it would be a fun one to run with. I am so glad I did, because it is sensational so far.

This is my first round robin, too. I love watching our group and the rest of the groups. Every quilt is taking on its own look. It's been interesting to see what is added.

Linda your centre and subsequent quilt is looking wonderful. What a great job everyone has done. No wonder you are so pleased with the outcome so far.

Only 2 weeks to the next mailing date! I can't wait to see what everyone has created.

Yes thanks for the reminder Mary. Still have only one side completed. Must put on my skates and get the rest done.

I'm going to be taking this one down to the wire. I'm keeping it pretty simple but with the end of the school year and my oldest's 7th bday next week, things seem crazy busy. I won't get to work on it until a few days before mailing.

I'm getting away this weekend to the beach with 15 others from the Board. Should be a fun retreat! Three days of sewing, food, and fun!

Oh, please don't sulk. School lets out in two weeks, and while I'm so much looking forward to full time with my boys (I think I'm more excited about summer break than they are!), I also know that my summer sewing time is going to become very very limited.

Last fall, 7 of us went for a beach retreat and it poured rain the whole time. This time there will be 16 of us - about half of which I'll be meeting for the first time, and the rain is supposed to lift for a couple of days and we should have a beautiful weekend (although it's coming down in buckets right now). Must go finish packing. Didn't get nearly the amount of prep work done that I'd hoped. Ah well.

Looking forward to seeing IRR pictures soon!
