Judy --I vote for April 30.
Karen -- love your block! The colors are perfect!
Mary -- I haven't taken any photos yet. I'll try to get a picture in the morning & post it.
I really love this block -- & I see many more in my future! Thanks, Judy!

Hi everybody, Someone mentioned making this block in red, white and blue. I'm still under the weather but had to get my fabric fix! lol I'm still fighting this headache so didn't feel like making the tiny 4 patch star, but now I wish I would have. But anyway, I just wanted to play with those colors and decided to alternate the colored strips for yet another look. Except for the center, I like how it came out. The white triangles have little white stars in the fabric and any patriotic block should have a star too. lol Might make a few blocks with star centers when I feel better.

I just love how the blocks turned out. Haven't got photos to show yet but because I've just bought a campervan. I'm going to have 1tablerunner using 2 blocks (it's a small table) and 2cushion covers for the beds. Photos tomorrow

Here's my table runner, as promised.

Sorry that Jack got in the way. He wouldn't move for me. He's 15yo this month & has senior moments.
Here's a close up of the middle ones:

I have the triangles on the ends pinned down because a few insist on waving in the breeze, so to speak!

Karen, I love your colors!
Evie, we missed you, hope to see you next month.
JustJan - well, you must be feeling better to come up with this fabulous block. Great pattern for a Quilt of Valor. It's about time I did another one, only have done one this year.
Speaking of QofV - this is my plug. There are 10 million quilters in the United States and if everyone made one every year or so, there would be quilts for the huge list of veterans on the list. So easy to do, and the long arms assigned to you will provide the batting and the quilting and return it to you to bind and turn in to a drop off. My drop off place is my LQS. I have lots of r/w/b scraps and I like to make scrappy sawtooth stars, they go together so easily and 12" blocks make it fast. Ok, I'll get off my soap box. All the info is here at www.qofvf.org (Quilt of Valor Foundation)
Give it a try, you just might like it!
ctyanke, your colors a just lovely, beautiful runner
I love all the different looks to these runners, not a loser in the bunch!
