[quote=luvmortherest]all of hte blocks are beautiful.

i wanted to join this one, found some beautiful batics, the perfect pattern, but between the tornado we had here, the clean up, and DH's numerous doctors appointments (and a 6 day stay in the hospital an hour away form home) was not able to pull it off.

your quilts are all going to be beautiful ladies.[/quot

Hope everything is starting to look up for you guys. Take care of each other. We will see you in other swaps.

I'll keep you and yours in prayer. There is always a next time on the QB! That is what makes it fun! I'm glad you are safe!

Here are some of my Rail Fence blocks.

Rail Fence blocks for Batik Swap. Actual colors are more vivid.

Ready to mail my blocks Tuesday...

"Farewell, my batik babies. Have a safe journey, and I hope you end up in a home that loves you like I do."

(Okay, okay. I'm WIERD...talking to my blocks. LOL)

Those are beautiful! I guess I misunderstood, that all the blocks had to be alike--the same pattern but different colors?

I used the same pattern but different colors too! I don't think it should matter, everyone will be getting a block that is unique to them. I just wanted to use the fabric I had. I think you could have used the same fabric and all different patterns too.
