Dancing Needle: That is very sweet and I bet your mom is going to be thrilled!!

Granniebj: How sad! I’m sorry you lost your son. There is no pain to compare. It’s just wrong when we parents outlive our children. I bet your 18 yr old son will treasure this quilt all the more because it was made for his older brother!

no biggie. (ok. well, er, ummmm ... maybe my behind is a biggie, but whether or not i keep on schedule in quilting is not. )

all it really means is that i'll be ready for next year's UFO Challenge. so maybe i'm ahead of schedule.

the logic works for me. feel free to borrow it.

You are too funny! I just love your logic.

I just need to finish the binding on my UFO for May and I’m good to go. I guess I should look into at least cutting the binding and getting it sewn on. It’s a multi-fabric binding. I’ve just had so many other projects going (started 3 new ones) that I haven’t sat down and finished this one yet.

I finally got my March one done and January pictured and mailed (it has been done since Jan 5 or so, but took me 2 months to get a picture!)! Pictures below. April's is waiting to go on my quilt frame. It would've been sooner but I accidentally kicked the frame and cut my toe   so I'm not on speaking terms with it right now.

I think that is all I have - ton's of UFO's. But I keep buying material when I see something I like.

LucyInTheSky: Both of your UFO's, I mean X-UFO's, are great! The Army quilt with the camouflage fabric is really cool! I love the quilting in the other one. I'm going to have to give that a try. Great job! Doesn't it feel great to wittle away at the UFO pile? (Love the tally in your siggy line! Congrats on single digits!) :)

Ok, I just read all 38 pages and although I don't have but 1 UFO, I am behind in my BOM from fatcatpatterns. I did half of January and life got in the way and haven't made my way back... maybe with someone else knowing, I will force myself to catch up. Everyone's no longer UFOs look great!! I only hope that I can make quilts like this in the future ( I started last March with this hobby, but didn't get too far since I had baby number 4 in May) I have made one quilt and quilted with stitch in the ditch, but I want to do something different with the Downy quilt I have sandwiched. Can't decide what and am a little scared that I might royally screw it up. Anyway, thanks for doing this challenge... hopefully I can learn from you guys as you are finishing yours.
