    Good morning, Azaleas! It's 60 degrees out this morning and going up to 70. What a nice way to start the day.

    Had to add a coping strip to make 12 1/2”, thank goodness for crumbs. Hugs!

    Thanks for the gallery Janice, it sure does help to plan things out. Now that the blocks are done, I’ll be doing embroidery and appliqué stitches for the next week, a binding, and dropping off my round robin to the quilter after I piece the backing today. We had 60 degrees yesterday, but today it’s cold again. Fingers crossed we get some nice weather later this week. Hugs!

    Rebaquilts, the coping strip adds a new dimension to the block. Great improvement. I'll switch out block pix.

    I've got the embroidery done on the last 6 blocks, now to add "sides" to get them to 12.5" square.

    Thanks! necessity is the mother of invention, I found that I was a little short of the 12 1/2 on one side, Thank goodness for the leftover bits, I was able to fix it. Hugs!
