Macybaby that pond is fabulous… and so much work! I can picture myself sitting on your lower deck overlooking the pond and reading a book.

What a nice, big pond, Cathy. The fish should love all that room to swim.

Love the elephant, Jenn! What a great center it would make for a baby quilt.

Two lovelies in one today. The pond, oh, goodness what an effort. Amazing home for your koi. Are they in the pond yet or do they have to wait for the water to do what ever it has to do so it is safe for them? I know nothing about home ponds, koi or building retaining walls.

The elephant is a keeper,JENNR8R. I did a cut and paste so I could save it for a future quilt. I agree with SBG, a cute center for a baby quilt. It reminds me of the children's book series, "Elmer the Elephant". It would make a good quilt/book pairing for a new little one or even an older little one.

They Koi are in the pond. Since they were in a small black tank and it gets hot in GA, I really wanted to get them in the big pond before we headed back north (were it is not near as warm!). DS has well water so it was pretty easy to get it ready to put the fish in. Koi are pretty hardy, one of the things I like about them.

I got two more packages, so I'm up to 12 too.
