I am so sorry. My sis raises minature goats. everyonce in a while this happens and breaks her heart too.

So sad. glad you could post and let others know .. you feed these little ones, feel them breath and their warmth and then they are gone.

Has the vet told you why the baby goat died? Recently Two of my granddaughter's goats each had a set of twins--so she's busy. I'm so sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear your baby passed. It hurts so much when you invest so much of yourself in the little one. Take comfort in knowing how well cared for and loved he was. Your efforts weren't in vain.
I'm in the same position as you were. Nursing a lamb whose mother rejected him. It has been 3 weeks and he seems to be doing well, but...
