    JHolm,

I'm on the 17 day diet and just began cycle 2 last thursday. I've not lost a bunch on the first cycle as many seem too, but I lost. I believe I'm losing more in inches than pounds. The diet covers 4 cycles. The first 3 are 17 days long and the fourth is actually maintenance. The first cycle is the most strict regarding food choices as Dr Moreno wants you to cleanse toxins, sugar, etc from your body. I think cycle one is most like a gluten free diet, no grain, no sugar. If you want more info, PM me and I'll send you more info. I'm very pleased with how I feel and tho I've not lost much yet I can see a thinner me. I plan on sticking with this in the long term. I have around 65 pounds to lose.

I weighed in. I have cleaned the bathroom (shower and tub incldued). Heading out for a ride on dh's motorcycle before the wind and humidity gets too bad. Will start quilting when we get back.

Have a great day! Love and support going out to all of you that you meet your goals.

I have a ton to lose, well not really a ton but close.lol. Seems to me even if you don't win the fabric it is worth the couple dollars you pay to send it to have the support. Where else do you get the support for that much ?I am so looking forward to this month, watching this thread.I have limits to what I can do having a few disabilities. But If I lose just 1 lb it will be better than gaining another lb. Good luck to us all. Mary

YEAH ME!!!!!! I am so excited, not just to be getting FQ but for the weight loss itself. I am so psyched to see how good I can do this next month. Last night I got out my wt loss journey binder that I have been working on. I went through all the pages of information, comments, pictures of clothes I cut out of catalogs and put in there. It re-motivated me to keep doing good. Some of my family members have been inspired by my weight loss and they are on board with me in trying to lose weight. I'm so happy and it feels good to be inspiring and motivating others to get healthy also. It also feels good to not be going to bed with such a full stomach. I am finally getting the hang of not eating until I feel like I'm about to pop, or not eating as if I think each meal is my last meal. This is my year to get healthier and I am so excited. I'm happy to have all of you to help keep me focused and motivated also. WE CAN DO THIS!! WE ARE DOING THIS!!!! Hugs to all, Sandy

Congrats everyone on their loss and welcome newbies. My total loss for last month was 2.5 lbs. It's a start anyway. Jeanne

I posted this recipe a month or so ago on a different thread. Being a diabetic I happen to love this one. Really good on a hot day and very light. Large chop 5-6 fresh or frozen strawberries. add 1/4 cup boiling water.Immediately add 2 boxes sugar free strawberry gelatin (I think they are 1oz ea.)Stir in 6 oz. strawberry yogert (I use the yoplait light) slowly fold in 1-8 oz sugarfree coolwhip. Put in 2 qt. bowl and refrigerate at least 3 hrs. It is the consistancy of a mouse type dessert. My brother hates yogert and eats this up he doesn't know whats in it.lol. You can change the flavors like use manderin oranges ,orange yogert and gelatin. Or use lemon or blueberry. It is all good and makes for a different taste.Hope you all enjoy it. Mary
