Great looking group you have there, the quilt is gorgeous and the food looks pretty darn good too! I had to show DH- he said that he would be happy to go to that quilting meeting!

Let me say that your quilt is beautiful,your food looks yummy,and you are well blessed to have so much talent in one room. And the truth be known I bet you all have a lot of wonderful memories and great stories to tell with such a beautiful group. I hope you girls have a blessed day.

How cool of a group is that!! I had tried to re-gain interest in the quilting group of a local church that's been in existence since the 1800's about 2 years ago, but having trouble recruiting "young" people. It sure is a dying art. Being 40 myself, I'm typically the 'kid' of the groups. Quilting has such a rich history in this area, and maybe it would be worth giving another shot.

I'm pretty sure I speak for a lot of folks when I say I'm a little envious of your wonderful quilting place, quilting group, quilting time, quilting food, quilting fellowship... It's a dream of mine to have a sweet group like this some day... My quilting friends and I are in the dreaming-about-how-to-organize-it stage.
