Let me say that your quilt is beautiful, your food looks yummy, and you are well blessed to have so much talent in one room. And the truth be known I bet you all have a lot of wonderful memories and great stories to tell with such a beautiful group. I hope you girls have a blessed day.

How cool of a group is that!! I had tried to re-gain interest in the quilting group of a local church that's been in existence since the 1800's about 2 years ago, but having trouble recruiting "young" people. It sure is a dying art. Being 40 myself, I'm typically the 'kid' of the groups. Quilting has such a rich history in this area, and maybe it would be worth giving another shot.

I'm pretty sure I speak for a lot of folks when I say I'm a little envious of your wonderful quilting place, quilting group, quilting time, quilting food, quilting fellowship... It's a dream of mine to have a sweet group like this some day... My quilting friends and I are in the dreaming-about-how-to-organize-it stage.
Happy quilting!
And the quilt is magnificent!! WOW!!!
