I'd love to have a class with the quilting gurus, but the cruise is not my place..... I'd be hanging my head over the toilet more than sewing..... LOL
Unless you hit stormy waters the ships are so big that they are smooth sailing, me and my husband went on a cruise and he get motion sickness, but he was okay on the cruise until we hit a storm on the last 2 days, but he just took dramamine and he was okay. They are really fun experiences, that I recommend trying. They have small 3 day cruises if you are unsure and don't want to be on a boat for a long time

Have fun on your cruise, Have been on three and they are wonderful, but never one with a quilting class.

[quote=Antdebby1]I am sew excited. My sister is taking me on a "quilting" cruise for a week in late August. Bonnie Hunter will be the teacher! This is an 8 day cruise starting in Port Canaveral, on to Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. I live in CT and my sister in TX, so we will meet in Orlando.

Wow! I would love to do a cruise some day with my sister. Interestingly she lives in CT (Northwestern part) and I live in Napa, CA. She's coming here and we are taking a road trip to Sisters, OR. Nothing like a nice vacation with your sister to bring back childhood memories and just hang out with. Now I'll have to add a quilting cruise to my bucket list.
I hope you enjoy it. Come back with stories and pictures please.

Just make sure you have hotel/motel reservations in the Bend, Redmond, Sisters area.

Lucky, lucky you. You will have an awesome time.....and I know you will treasure your "memory days." Be sure to report back, we will be anxious to hear all about it. Take pictures too, you will be glad you did.
