I got it at Walmart. And it was very nice fabric. When I saw it, I bought it all because I loved it so much. I'll be sad when I run out. QOV are supposed to be made with the nicest materials you can afford, and though this was not toooo expensive, it was nice and soft and smooth. The fabrics on the front came from my local quilt store.

Honestly, I did NOT want to let it go. Actually, I didn't send it through QOV, was unaware of that group. I sent it through Soldier's Angels program at the Germany hospital. I help support Michael Yon who is an embedded journalist and former Green Beret and he turned me onto Soldier's Angels. They are his go-to org when he wants to get help for our forces in the field. Here's a link to his bio and he has some award winning stuff. http://www.michaelyon-online.com/about-michael-yon/

What a beautiful quilt, for a wonderful cause! I love the meaning you attached to the blocks and border. Very well thought out.
