i understand where you are. my husband was in tower one when the tower was hit. until i heard from him, many hours later, my heart was in my throat.
everything will be fine. keep busy. before you know it, he'll be home asking what's for supper. give him hugs and kisses.

My hubby use to be one of those land surveyor that stand in the middle of an intersection or along the side of freeways. I told him not to tell me what he did that day.
I also 'gave him to God'. If anything happened to him it was Gods will.

the trouble with having love is it comes with the fear of losing it. i love my husband , too, and faced his very probable death due to cancer. it's terrifying! but he has made it, and by the time you read this your husband will have made it through the day as well. faith is believing in things you can not prove, or see in a physical sense, like the existence of a higher power. but have faith that your husband will be safe and that life will go as it is supposed to. and that your husband is meant to be there with you and izzy to watch her grow. wish you the best!

April, let us say a prayer for him as he goes about his work. You will be in our thoughts and our prayers. keep that chin up and when he comes home just give him a big hug and tell him how glad you are that hes home. Marvel in Ok
