Absolutely!! There are many organizations out there that would be happy to have them...such as a hospice??? :-)

Next time you drive by an old folks home, walk inside and ask if they have any Alzheimers patients that you could donate a quilt to. FYI:your quilt will be passed around and loved by numerous people. Simply because they can't remember who it belongs to. If they like it, they will claim it for their own. And when they put it down, someone else will pick it up and claim it. It's common practice in these homes. They are like children again. Your quilt will be the gift that litterally keeps on giving. Embroider "God Bless You" on the label. ♥

Donate them! There are so many places that would be thrilled to have them. My cancer center is always happy to have them for our friends doing chemo.

It's a wonderful feeling to make and donate a quilt to someone who is undergoing chemo. Knowing you are giving comfort in a work of love yet in a most practical way, is so satisfying.
If you find yourself needing help, keep me in mind. I love to do quilts for chemo and dialysis patients to honor my brother and sister.
