Patrick, I like that one. Is it made from a shaker box?

Here is some instructions I have composed for a thread Catcher Caddy. May be a little different to the one in this post .
Maybe you can find these instructions useful.

I make homemade gifts for family and sewing friends. I love to receive anything handmade as a gift.

Since I almost NEVER make anything for myself, Can I put my name on your gift list? Lets see pincushions, don't forget machine and wrist style too- mug caddy-painters tape for holding guides on machines - needle books LOL

PS a suggestion I use to do with a group of sewing friends about every two or three months we would put in our name is we wanted to participate in a swap. Lets say an Apron if you wanted to join in that we would put in our name and then get paired off with someone else. Next time maybe a small wall hanging or set of 4 placemats. maybe then a potholder or coaster swap. MAchine embroider on hand towel. Always Something small. We have gotten away from it. Maybe should restart it again.

all of the above, plus, this would be neat for me, i make cards myself for sale, not quilted tho, out of silk, they have a round hole in the center, and i place the fabric under the hole, it would be fun to make christmas cards with christmas fabric like that, it would be a great hostess gift if it was given around thanksgiving, oh dear, looks like i have another project, darn

ps if anyone wants detailed instructions i will give them, happily

No it's just a 1 1/2 inch piece of cardboard and a bottom to hold the hold thing together, dressed to the nines.

Anything! I'm so sad cause my friends won't make anything for me. They think I sew better than they do and anything they make wouldn't be up to my standards.

For years when I was ask what I wanted for Christmas etc. I always said a gift car to my favorite fabric shop. Never got ONE. But I sure collected a lot of other un-necessaries.
