beautiful job. I'd like to know how you attached the top part. While handles would be neat, the surprise is the hidden animals in the bag.

I've actually had really good luck washing up old stuffed animals. I was surprised at how nice they looked...even ones that were 30 years old! I personally am not a fan of Febreeze because it's just adding chemicals to the object. In fact, I don't use any fragrances in any of my detergents, etc....they are just one more toxin that our bodies have to deal with. Changes the smell but doesn't clean it. If you didn't want to wash something I'd be inclined to spot clean it if needed. Then I'd put it out in the sun and let it air out. Maybe even sprinkling a little baking soda on it to absorb some odor if it's still remaining and then shake well or vacuum with a hand attachment.
