Go and have a great time! I'm thinking of joining an additional guild now that I am retired. I have belonged eight years to the one I currently attend and would like additional ideas

Shannon, they will LOVE having you there! I'm so jealous. Wish we had one nearby.

Don't be afraid to just say HI to someone and smile and introduce yourself. I would take something I am working on or something that I have done to show and share. Most have that, but I would probably take something small so if they don't have a show and share, its just in your bag. Sometimes church groups just do charity quilting, but a pleasant smile always seems to work to get acquainted. Good luck and let us know how it went.

Here is some encouragement for you!!! I just joined a guild and there are a couple of ladies who make gorgeous art quilts and wall hangings. Don't be intimidated by those people. I make quilts to be used and am very proud of them. Good luck

I can identify with you completely. But pushing our own boundaries is how we grow. Sending you my prayer for courage and confidence! Please let us know how you liked it afterwards!
