None of these solutions work once you actually are stuck in Mobile format. I can't even find a way to access general settings from this style of page. Anybody know how to get back to the default setting FROM a mobile format page? did you figure it out glassnquilts?

The only way to get out of mobile view from a computer is to contact Patrice and she will rescue you. If you are on mobile view on a phone you should have the box in the bottom left corner to click back to default view.

I have seen this and wondered what it does -but am afraid to try it -knowing that every time I do anything with a default option my Guru has to come over and read the Riot Act before fixing my latest screw-up.So is Mobile style someting to do with a cell phone??I am learning NOT to try anything before asking first (better late then never)

Yep for a cell phone you get something similar to the stripped down old board, and can switch back and forth. From a computer . . . well you are stuck until a moderator saves you. It does have the look (sorta) of the old board, but not as much functionality. I won't go there again!!!

yes stuck in the mobile mode. I really used to come here and spend an hour -or three- reading, enjoying the company, learning and being amazed at the skill of the members. now, it's too frustrating. I've tried to keep an open mind but . . . I don't see myself coming back when the content is this difficult to get to.
