What a bright happy quilt and for a very special person. My great grandson also has autism and needed a weighted quilt which I just finished and sent. It calms him when he has a "meltdown" and comforts him. The Linus project on the Internet has a pattern and refers to the weighted one at the end. If you make it do NOT roll the sheets used to weight it down, fold them in layers. It is rather lumpy otherwise. My GGS loved the quilt though but they use it sparingly (for short times say 15 or 20 minutes) and it has better results. It works wonders. Good luck.

Wonderful quilt. Thanks for sharing the pattern. I have a grandson and a granddaughter with Autism. Both are doing very well, my granddaughter just finished her second year of college.
