go to the guild meeting -- I enjoy mine as I visit with my quilting buddy, whom I met through QB, and see what others gave completed (show and tell) and what ideas and quilts the speakers present each month -- it is inspiring and I get to see beautiful quilts up close -- some guilds are slow to read and act on emails -- give them a chance!!

I am Treasurer of my guild and am the one responsible for picking up the mail and I must confess I only do it about twice a month. If the mail goes to a P.O. box this is probably the problem. Hope you went to the meeting and had fun.

I belong to a modern quilt guild. It is so much fun. There are lots of young mothers and older members as well. The meetings are informative and show and tell is great fun. We gather at a local church once a month for a sew in. I get a lot done at the sew in. I love the modern concept. This guild is very energetic. The leader is young and computer savy. I am probably one of the oldest in this guild. Try a different guild would be my suggestion.
