    I think its gret the way it is!! I think the white would have dragged the colors down - you make the right choice I think. She will love it!!

    I think it is beautiful, the blue border does frame the bed, it doesn't look too small to me

    The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think it's very pretty just like it is. Your friend will probably love it. One good thing about quilting is that there are no hard and fast rules and when we quilt we have the option of doing it our way. I really don't think it could be any prettier if it had a white border..

    I too think it's gorgeous...that blue/turquoise is my favorite. It frames the bed beautifully! She is one lucky lady to be getting that from you!!

    My vote is to leave the beautiful thing just as it is.

    Besides the way bed quilts look and keep me warm and happy, the big thing for me is that I know where the edges of the quilt hit the bed. Makes it so much easier to make the bed! Now considering how I feel about mornings that "marking" is a big plus.

    Your quilt is terrific.
