I have music everywhere in my house. When my DH leaves for his part time job, the TV gets turned off & my music gets turned on. I have stereos on every floor of my house. Sometimes it's country, sometimes it's Enya, sometimes it's today's rock but most of the time it's music from the 50's & 60's, when music was music. Wouldn't know what to do without my music.

Music lifts my spirits! Pandora is the best and I have several stations that I rotate through depending upon my mood. For FMQ I use the Rolling Stones station, for general sewing/piecing it might be Jimmy Buffet, some down home blues like Kenny Neal, or something more nostalgic like some good ol' swing from Glenn Miller.

Yes, always. Always a variety. I have been organizing, deleting CDs. Even known to listen to Lion King -- children are gone but I still love that music genre also. I notice I need to make sure the music is not too "energizing" Consequences occur then.

What great things to listen too. It cracked me up how franc 36 finished her quilt sandwich becasue she wanted to listen to the ending of the mystery. I have never been able to figure out hwo people quilt and watch TV at the same time. Maybe because that is because I am hearing impaired and have to have my eyes on the closed captioning, but even then, i don't get how that would work.
