picture of finished quilt, as promised

yes, I know that a walking foot would have solved my problem, I just could not use it because it would not fit on to the sewing machine that I was using (I am away from home for 2 months). So far everybody here loves the quilt so I believe that that newly wed couple will like it too.

the pattern is called 'Dublin' and it was available on the web. the fabrics are batiks and I did not have a walking foot available with me, otherwise there would not be any bunching, but I am still happy with the quilt,
thanks for looking
thanks for looking
Very pretty. You would probably be able to stop the bunching in your next quilt by starching your fabrics BEFORE you cut them. Starch pretty heavy, then iron dry, then cut. You will be amazed at the difference. It takes a little more time to this but well worth the effort. Love your pattern, do you mind sharing it?
