He is just lovely!!!! I'm not a rooster/chicken decor person, but I ended up with a BUNCH of rooster/wire/etc fabric when I bought fabric from a lady that was scaling down and moving. She had picked the fabrics herself to fill trash bags, so there were other types fabrics in the bag, too, but I have a bunch of chicken coodinates that I don't know what I'll do with. She worked at the LQS for years, so all her fabrics were beautiful! I guess maybe an occasion may arise one day, but I should probably just sell them to someone that will love them properly!

I don't see Rupert as radical at all. I see him as elegant, sophisticated and worldly. He's beautiful! He's suitable for framing, with or without quilting. As for me I'd quilt him first as his beauty and elegance will be enhanced with a little dimension. Very nice work!

Absolutely terrific! Sorry don't know about the quilting though, since I would ruin it with my quilting. However, if you are a good quilter it could only add another dimension to your masterpiece.

Rupert is welcome in my kitchen anytime. He would be in good company as my daughter-in-law repopulated my rooster kitchen with new rooster towels. But, I like yours the best-so elegant.
