I am working on the quilt On the Square. I finally finished all these blocks. They are block A. Now I am starting block B. It's easier than this one, so I should be finished this week, hopefully.

I'm working on 24 blocks. 12 is called Sir lancelot, and the other 12 is called winchester cathedral. I'm going to combine, them into a quilt. I will use sashing between each block. Out of a book by Judy Martin--Scraps, Blocks and quilts

I just finished a quilt for my dfs boss and now I am pressing rows to make two d9p baby quilts for my daughters doctor's twin girls. He and his wife were in my graduating high school class and just moved back to our area. I also have a sparkly princess wall hanging I made for Lu with left over fabric from a blanket I made for my niece. I fussy cut princesses and sashed them with pink swirly sparkle fabric. Now it needs sammiched and quilted.

Then there are about a million ideas floating in my head for future projects.

I'm on the home stretch with my fireworks quilt entry for this year's challenge, to be displayed in August. Then I've got 2 mystery quilt BOM to do, and a couple challenges for my contemporary small group and figure out a quilt design for my quilt guild's President Challenge for this year - make a quilt that tells a story about yourself. I also need to read a book about color for a new small group working with color. We haven't decided on a name for our group yet.

I just got done making a messenger bag for my daughter in law. She wanted fabric that had nursing items, found fabric with sayings on it. It has been a project for he**, first my machine jammed and it took me over an hour to get it working, sewed the sides of the bag and noticed that I hadn't sewed the bottom of the pocket down. Good thing for seam rips. At that point I decided that I would stop for a couple of days hoping that things would be better. Was wrong on that thought!! Broke a needle, my edges started to fray and it was just a pain in the butt. Finally got it done with I might add with errors, but I'm not starting over!!!!
