Can a large Throw be a wedding gift?

Interesting question. Why not? I received a $10 gift certificate for a wedding gift. I bought strawberry plants! No "rules" for a gift from the heart. Most likely it will get used! I don't believe I would give a full bed quilt unless there was input from the bride and groom. Otherwise that gift might be put away.

So glad you asked this question. Have a wedding gift to do but don't know the bed size. Now, thanks to all these wonderful responses, I'm going to make them a Christmas Quilt! The wedding is the end of September.
