I enjoy seeing all of these posts. I pp and have used regular copy paper, newsprint and Carol Doake paper. I find that light weight Vellum is the best for me. Very little, little pieces to get out of 1.5 stitches. Has enough weight to move around without getting wrinkled when turning front to back over and over. Goes through printer slick as butter. More costly than other methods but well worth the price.

Many people get foundation paper confused with paper piecing paper. Foundation can be anything you can sew through and doesn't have to go through the printer.
