    Default Love it!

I posted a question to the Board back in December about quilting the pieced background before or after I did the applique. http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...t-t258987.html
I decided to quilt it first which seems to have help keep it square. The next time I do something like this, I'll just do some basting to hold the quilt in place, then quilt after the applique. With quilting first, I lost some of the height of the batting, so the flowers are 'puffy'!

    Thanks for letting me share!

This is beautiful. Can you share the pattern name and where you bought it. I would love to make one with my batiks. Thanks so much, Cheryl

    Thanks for all the compliments!

If you're interested in the pattern click the link "When to Quilt an Applique Quilt" on my initial post of this thread. It is about 6 posts down from the start. I used freezer paper to cut the fabric, then glued the edges down and stitched with appropriate colored thread.

Wow, that is a beautiful wall hanging. Can see why it's in the bedroom and not the bathroom!
