Lovely quilt, we are getting blasted with snow right now, not even the dog wants to go out! I wonder if we will be able to open the outside door in the morning? Temperature is not supposed to get above 5 and may remain below 0 all day tomorrow.

Thank you for your soothing comments about the snow. HOWEVER.....another blizzard is now pounding down on us AND they are predicting an ice storm on Wed. I can't take this anymore. We can't get to our generator cause it's buried on the back deck.
Anyhow, I used a Handiquilter Gadgets ruler the Versa Tool by Suzanne Michelle Hyland. It has multiple angles on it. The orange peels were just done with the curve part of the ruler and I went around each side of the square. The straight lines were done with a binding tool I bought at a show that is 1/2" thick. I am starting to build up my rulers, they are very expensive, so I try to improvise. The squares in the white section were a cardboard template I made and just marked each one. The MQX show is in April in NH and I am saving up to buy more supplies there. Can't wait.

Ugh! That snow is awful and all we keep saying here is "at least we don't live in Boston". Your area is really getting clobbered this year. But, I must say, you have put your confinement to very good use. The quilt is beautiful. I'm afraid I don't get much done when I'm snowed in. I keep going to the windows to look out and seem to just waste time.
