I just finished a friendship quilt last night that will be raffled next week. I will get a picture of it tomorrow.

I love the bricks and stones quilt. I made one with yellow and black four patches.

I will be finishing up a patriotic table runner for charity. I got a little over-sized on it and it almost could be used as a bed runner! LOL... But the quilting and binding will be finished this weekend.
If that gets finished, I will start on a nine degree spicy spiral table runner with batiks. I finally broke down and bought the ruler and pattern.

I will have to concentrate on finishing the blocks for our family reunion quilt, so I can make the top, then send it off to my niece in KS who has a long arm machine. She is also hosting the family reunion over the July 4th weekend, so she can raffle it off that weekend. I'm making the disappearing hourglass quilt from MSQC, as I fell in love with it, and it should be an awesome quilt in purple and white with the great fabrics my family sent me. I am facing a right shoulder replacement, possibly in April or early May, but that is on the top of my "Before Surgery Project List", as I will be out of commission for a few weeks. Hope I can accomplish a lot this weekend.

Love seeing everyone's projects! This is the easy strip quilt I am working on, it is for a chemo-charity guild project.

Did all my running before lunch, just finished the repair on a friends old quilt.
All the original 1 inch binding was frayed at the edge, but there was enough room to add a normal binding on the piece. Now to get what she wants for a small label on the back before she gives it to her GD. Have some fabric in the laundry to preshrink. But I think its time for a quick walk it's almost 60 out there, then will do some FMQ for a bit. I have a table runner that is getting close to being a UFO.

Love seeing everyone's projects! I was the only puddle jumper who showed up for my walking group today... oh well... got some fresh wet air and had to put my umbrella down before it turned inside out! I'm continuing with my straight line machine quilting on my penguin quilt, not much to show so will wait until there is before taking a picture. DD is coming for dinner with their 2 doggies about 7..... haven't done soft tacos for years but that's what's on the menu! Thank you for posting this virtual weekend.... it is keeping me in line!

I'm working most of this weekend, but trying to squeeze some quilting time into the spare minutes. I finished all the blocks for our modern guild challenge last night. I think I'm going to join them without sashing. The quilt is pretty small, so I'll check at the next meeting if there was a size restriction, and if not I might add a few more blocks to make this large enough for a charity quilt.

I also cut a new project today, and got the first 10 blocks put together. This one is assembling really quickly - just a lot of strip piecing to do for it.

I'm working on an orange and turquoise quilt top and finishing QB mystery train #8 quilt top. Tomorrow I will be sewing on the sashing and sewing the blocks together. I hopefully will complete the piano key border. I like the way this project is coming together. I should be able to complete those projects in the next few days. I'll post pics as I get the projects finished.

Tuesday, last was my delft quilt day. I go once a month and have 4 new blocks to do. Applique first then hand embroidery.
This is the strawberry block. Started the strawberry will spend today finishing it.
over her inUK it is Mothering Sunday not a day for the single female with no mum and no children so a cosy chair and needle and thread are my plan.

Maniac Quilter, what is the name of that pattern you are doing? I could use that pattern for Laurel Burch cat fabric I have. That would make a beautiful quilt.
