And she's on her way to Peru right now!

I love the results of Bonnie's mysteries but I just can't do them. I have to break up my cutting and sewing so I don't have a shoulder flare. With all the cutting before hand, impossible for me.

There is a link for all those following the mystery here on the board.

Some quilt shops have pulled colors that will work with the paint chips. Mostly you're on your own. I was a little nervous with my first Bonnie mystery but it turned out great. Get the paint chips and do your best to match them. Make a smaller size. My first one was one quarter the size of the pattern. As suggested, you can do a single fabric of each color. It's fun to join in and see what others are doing.

Thanks for the tips on fabric choice.

Yay! Looks like I can make this one entirely from stash! My gray will be more of a slate with a blueish tone but I think it will be good.
Once I pull it all I will post on the new thread...

I've found most of my fabric from stash, too. Just need the gray and a bit more red and gold. I told myself I wouldn't do the mystery this year so I could concentrate on other projects. But those colors are gorgeous so I'm in. And it will use up some stash so that's a good thing. Right?

It looks like it will be fun. After seeing the post, I couldn't wait for my email from her blog. Thanks for this.

Here are some of my fabrics on flickr. I may take out some of the neutrals. Would appreciate your thoughts about any that don't seem right. And I'll be adding more red & gold along with my gray constant.

I have enough of every color except I need to buy the gray. It won't cost me much. Yahoo! Do you know if she incudes measurements for the backing?
