Ohhhhh I LOVE your room!!! For some reason I never thought about bookshelves for fabric! Love that long sewing counter too!! How big is your room? It truly turned out absolutely beautiful!!! :D :D

Quiltgranny, you can get white laminated finished sheets, I think 2'x8', at Menards for about $16 each (might have been on sale then). They're on my wish list!! They look quite similar to this one. :-)

    Hi Diana,

Thanks SO much for the tip! Much appreciated. Not a bad price, either. Hmm. Think I'll go check 'em out soon.

    Happy sewing! :)

Thank you all for your kind words!
I love, love, love my "new" room!!!!!!

    MollieSue... it's actually quite small...only 9 1/2' x 10'.
The long sewing counter makes it look much bigger than it is.
And having the fabric on bookshelves makes it all very easy to use.

What a lovely sewing room! You have lots of storage space and it looks wonderful to work in.

I will eventually have a wonderful space too. Going thru a basement remodel and half the space is going to be just for quilting. It's my retirement gift to myself.

I love to see other's sewing rooms. I get great ideas for my own space. Thank you for posting pictures.
