It’s just wonderful to see everyone’s quilts. I’ve been racking my brain about what’s my favorite that I’ve made. There really is no particular one yet. I guess it’s still waiting to be created!

Oh, I love that! Very modern!. You broke all the rules....and with bright colors! I'm not sure how you made it come out right. Did you draw it out on paper first and do the math?

Daffy Daphne, I think your quilt is amazing and very beautiful! Is that the apple core template? How small are your pieces?

I have special feelings for this top. It was my first time working with batiks and I felt they had such a primal energy.

Very pretty! I love the pattern, the fabrics/colors, and the way you arranged the blocks.

    Daffy

I love this one, too. It reminds me, somehow, of a tiled Moroccan wall. And I love the way you quilted it.

She had purchased it to make a quilt for her son, but she had pretty much quit sewing by then. A few months later my spouse said he wanted a quilt. He said one of my Spy quilts would be fine. I said, "Oh no not that one. I have the perfect quilt for you." I showed him the panel and he said yes of course. (He's a native Texan, and proud of it.)

I found a photo online of this quilt in different colors and copied it. It was a bear. I think I made it three times. Getting all the pieces of the panel sashed and lined up was tough. I would think I had it right and then I would sew it together. It was either crooked or not even or something. So, I'd rip and start over. The stars were my first attempt at applique. I only made them twice.

(Please don't post my quilt to pinterest.)

I do not have a photo of it after it was quilted. I sent it to the longarmer.

As a native Texan myself, this has to get my all time vote! It's gorgeous! Perfect! So Texas! I absolutely love it. Lucky spouse!

All the quilts shown are lovely. I began commenting before seeing them all -- my bad -- but just let me say they are all beautiful. Exquisite! You should all be so proud!

This is one of my favorites. Simple but very effective and includes some of my favorite colors.

Love seeing everyone's favorite quilt. I don't think I could pick a favorite of mine ................ but if I had to, I think my youngest daughter's wedding quilt and maybe Allietare (my first Bonnie Hunter mystery) would be favorites. Here is Rachel and Nate's wedding quilt. And the next is Allietare, my other favorite ..........
