If you search Warm Wishes on this board, there are posts with pictures of this quilt made by some of the members. Lots of great inspiration!
Thank you for this pattern!!! I think it will work lovely with the bunnies and I think I have some fabric that it will work well with too!!! I am thinking about making my granddaughter a bed quilt & was thinking about using the Irish Chain but I might like this even better.
Beachbound you are not far from me right now, visiting friends in Suwanee.

Oh my gosh what cute fabric...gosh I'd hate to cut into that. I think I would definately use bigger squares using the focus fabric.....

Please keep in mind am a novice quilter at best so I need something fairly simple. I only have one tan, should I get another tan to go along or take the tan out. But then it would all be green and I really don't want that. Open to any and all suggestions.
can you not merely hand quilt around the bunnies--or --just tie the fabric and put one or two borders around as it seems such a pity to cut into the fabric and am sure that your friend will enjoy it more in it's entirity.

What a special thing for you to do in making a quilt for a friend with fabric that she will love. I also love the Warm Wishes pattern--used it several times. However, the modabakeshop pattern will eliminate cutting those bunnies. Also, if you needed to extend the bunny fabric, you could use the piece of fabric that resembles "grass" and use it as part of the focus piece, or just as the border. You did not state the size you are doing. Just a suggestion.

These Board members are terrific and I love it when they put up the sites to patterns, etc.

This would be very cute done in a 9 Patch Pizazz....that is the name of the book....can't think of the author of the top of my head.....but you make 9 patches, rectangles, squares, and get to use big pieces of the bunnies, and pick fabrics that blend well.....very cute.....check out the book if you can. We sure could have beachbound. As a matter of fact I have to go to Lawrenceville on Wed. to have an MRI done for my fractured wrist. I want to check out the quilt shops in that area, do you have a name and addy for the quilt shop in that area?

I'm late getting on this thread, but I want to put my two bits in. When I first began to read, I looked at that gorgeous bunny fabric and thought, "Why not use it as a panel and use the other fabrics in rows around (as in a round robin)." Or set blocks around it. Nothing new, but please don't cut up the bunnies. (((((grin)))))) I also like the idea of the D9P or the Warm Wishes, only make the blocks larger.
