Very very pretty love the pattern did you get it out of a book? Love the colors. Yeah make your own rules I have none I just do what feels right.

It's the card trick pattern. Sorry - I don't remember which book it's from, but I think it's fairly common.

I love the colors and the pattern. Thanks for the close-up and good choice of prints for this pattern. Have loved being a part of this group as I have always been so hard on myself of doing things right, but now I can say it's okay to do it my way. The only person that needs to be satisfied is me!

I didn't even know there were rules! I just started sticking scraps of material together. Now I just experiment and make up my own "patterns". Some turn out and others don't. That's life!

Your quilt is beautiful and I love the colours. Who made up these 'rules' anyway. Quilters long ago used whatever they had on hand and museums are full of their quilts.
