    I agree, pink or green sashing strips with the other color as cornerstones. The blocks are beautiful, BTW. The quilt is going to be a stunner!

    yes I did the embroidery work. I do a lot of embroidery.

    Mary that is so so very beautiful. The colors and everything are lovely.
    I know white is traditional for a wedding, but if I had a white quilt, it would never find it's way out of a plastic bag and onto my bed. How could I ever hope to keep it clean and looking nice? Even if it's a wedding quilt, tradition be danged, lol, I want color and practicality. Give me the pinks and yellows and greens like Mary used on her quilt. The white of the embroidered squares will stand out on their own, like hers do. Just my opinion. Hugs and smiles. What a blessing to have such a joyful project to share with your mother.
