I worked in Kaimuki in the early 60's!
Is that shop fort of "on the top of the hill"?

How were the prices in Maui?
The prices in Maui at the Maui Quilt Shop were good, a dollar or two cheaper than my LQS's. I didn't buy any at the Needlework Shop in Lahaina as she had very little fabric. Her specialty was more towards needlework, hence the name!
I did not get to the other shops on Maui. :-(
I am thinking I need to go back to check out the other shops....

Your fabrics are gorgeous! I bet your trip was too. I have never been to Hawaii. It has been a dream of mine so maybe someday I'll get to go

Great choices! Fabric Mart has the lowest prices here on the island. Glad you found lots of fabric you like. 8-)

I went to HI about 4 years ago and went to every quilt shop I saw. I sent two large boxes of fabrics home. The prices at that time were much less than what I was paying locally. It's a beautiful place. I'm dying to go back. I bought fabrics to make my husband a HI shirt, plus myself. I've used some for caftans. It was all good quality.
