Glad the Cortisone shot worked for you!!! I have had way too many of them and they didn't work for me!

I also have the pain in my right thigh from too much peddling even though I have my machine pedal on a slanted support. Leg was injured when I was sideswiped a few years ago, along with back muscles

I just had rt. shoulder surgery on Friday, so I know about some of your pain. Hope it lets up soon!

Thank you all! I had a partial rotator cuff tear repaired, a bone spur, some arthritis, and bursitis. I had been in pain for over 2 yrs., and now I can't wait to sew without hurting. May be another 5-6 weeks though, I really dread physical therapy!

Hey Debbie, don't dread the PT, really!! It is not as bad as the pain you had before the surgery, if it was anything like mine!! And the results are so worth it. I'm going thru the PT now, and it sounds like we had the same surgery, except I had 2 partial tears and they had to shave off the end of my shoulder blade to find healthy bone.
I'm doing great with the PT and I'm sure you will also. I especially find the ultrasound with stim very helpful with the pain, so hopefully they will try that for you, too.

I sewed for 8 hours on Saturday and probably 10 on Sunday. I am in extreme pain today with my shoulders and chest. I did not sleep at all Sunday night I can't lay on my back now or my sides. :(

I notice I bend down to look at my machine needle, Should I raise my machine to eye level?
