I love Bailey's tea, from Ireland. If you live near an area with a lot of Irish people, you can find it in the regular grocery stores.

I find loose tea put into a tea ball probably is one of the better ways to have tea. I find the tea leaves used in loose tea are larger and seem to have more flavour. My great grandma was from Ireland so we always had a pot of tea at lunch....it always tasted so good.

We're tea drinkers and I only make tea in a tea pot. I hate it when someone gives me a tea bag in a cup of hot water or makes a cup in the microwave, it always tastes bitter. Forget about ordering tea in a restaurant unless it is a tea shop.

I have tea pots of all sizes, individual, 3 cups for just DH and I and big pots for when family and/or friends are here. I boil fresh water in a big tea kettle, DH says the water must be boiling merrily. I never reheat the tea left in the pot after it gets cold, something DH does in the microwave.

As an aside, I've also found that my regular brand of coffee, Folgers Decaf, has lost its taste, doesn't taste like coffee at all. Cleaned coffee maker with vinegar and no difference in the taste. Just bought Maxwell House Decaf and hope it's better tasting or I won't be able to begin my days at all. May in Jersey

I've been buying teas online from Teavana, all loose tea and all different flavors,Rooibos chai is one of my favorites, they have his neat little pot, that you put your tea in and pour boiling water on then let it steep, I also use their rock sugar, so different than regular sugar.

i love tea, i drink it all day, i think that when we drink too much and it loses flavor, it's because we drink too much. i lay off for a couple of days and then start again it taste good again. . try it.

I made an interesting discovery - I like tea but not scalding hot. Made in a regular pottery mug, I have to let it set for 10-15 min. before I can drink it. In a bone china mug, about 5 minutes., in a bone china cup and saucer (like your mom had!) I can drink it right away.

That is interesting. Come to think of it depending upon the type and/or size of cup/mug I also wait certain amounts of time for my tea or coffee to set before drinking it. may in jersey

Any ideas from real tea mavens out there? Maybe my taste buds are just getting too old.

Needless to say I am talking about plain tea, not anything flavored.
Here we get bad crop years i think the tea & coffee are suffering bad crop years.
I love tea and am fond of the Christiana Teas on facebook

I use Luzianne for hot and iced tea. I bought oolong from Stash Tea Company also. It was real good also. You can get Stash Tea in some of the grocery stores too. I had bought it online. They have some beautiful tea pots too.
