Redpurselady - you avatar states you're in Ft. Worth, why not make a Texas quilt. Some of the sites have the Tx. block of the month quilt and it is just beautiful. Most true Texans would absolutely love it. But I am sure that any quilt would be appreciated, especially if you can make it on the treadle. Congratulations. what a beautiful and special gift.
