Like Vicki above, I have a 1965 Kemore that I piece and FMQ with. I have a serger and small Kenmore for traveling.

Just for myself and my family. Too many projects sewing, quilting, embroidering, would not have time to take orders for anyone else.

Caroltee, love your sewing room. How do you keep it so clean and everything put away? I keep taking over more and more in the sunroom and my husband says I should just take it all, but I am feel guilty because he already had a room 18 x 24 built on the house when we had it built for my craft room.

I do the small projects on my own and send the big ones out. I am fairly sick of a big quilt by the time I get it pieced and really do not want to look at it for a while, so it all works out! I guess I am sewing machine poor also, have a Pfaff for piecing, an embroidery machine, and a Featherweight (oh, and my serger that I probably forgot how to use).

My sewing areas are small so I have to put everything back where I can find it .

I'm just curious - how much do these people charge to do your quilting for you....nobody around me does it so i have no idea, but i imagine it to be expensive??

I have a shortarm on a frame, and I do my own. Also my mom uses it to do hers, and my husband uses it to do his own. I also sell a few custom quilts, and I do those.
