You made good use of a problem piece of fabric. Congrats. And the airplane quilt is precious, too. You are a wonderful grandmother.

The fabric is by RJR and is called Monsters in the Closet. There is a whole line of companion prints! I bot it on sale last summer. Check some of the websites that specialize in finding fabric. It was not a kit. It just kinda developed as I went. Lots of my quilts start out that way and just kinda SPEAK to me. I had a blast making them. I use 100% cotton batting so when it is washed and dried-it shrinks and looks heir-loom-y!!! Also hides a multitude of Opp's! Pics were taken pre wash..... Glad you all like them..... Thanks for all the wonderful comments!

FYI! The fabric is RJR mill, Sue Marsh designer. I googled Monsters in the Closet and found the big monster panel @ quiltropolis.net. Google Monsters in the Closet and you can find all kinds of the companion fabric..... Have fun creating your OWN monsters... tee hee!

I figured out the "flip" of captions and dearly love the quilts. Certain the DGS's will, too.

I love both quilts. The wonky monsters in the closet caught my attention because I have that fabric. Very nicely done.
