I have noticed several people on the board have treadle machines. I also have one, it was my grandmothers and was wondering if any one knew how to tell the date and the name of it. I don't see it anywhere and don't have a manual.
Thanks

Part of the reason I am lucky is that DH , without complaint, drove me 510 miles, round trip, to pick her up!
Whatta guy. HAPPY DANCE all over the place.
Before I forget, thanks for all the wonderful congrats and Merry Christmas to all....

My goodness she is beautiful. Try putting your right foot forward on the plate and the left foot put just your front 1/2 of foot on edge of peddle closest to you.then push down with the left foot toes and then with the right foot toes. hope this makes sense. I like to work it this way, better than both feet in the middle. It's whatever gets the job done and your comfortable with.Enjoy her.and Merry Christmas everyone. Mary

She is beautiful. I could of had one when we went to a family auction in Hatfield, Ar, but it had been left in a shed since 1923, thats where she used it, I think it was her sewing room, and the weather had destroyed it badly. I wanted it anyway, but the person I was with didn't want to haul it back, instead we brought a pic nic table and other odds and ends, for him. but.. have fun with her.. love the red black and gold... wow.

Very Pretty!! I have three of them 2 tredle and 1 electric. I love the decals. You will have to come into the "vintage sewing machine shop" and show her off. Everyone in the shop has a vintage machine of some kind. The thread is in this quilting board. We all would love for you to come join us. There is always good coffee, tea or what ever you like and goodies to eat and very good conversation. Merry Christmas to one and all.
