Well, it's not really an attraction--it's more like a 'sickness'  and this sickness gets worse and worse because of the internet....lol. If it wasn't for the internet, I wouldn't have known about these beautiful machines and then I wouldn't have begun collecting them and then my daughter wouldn't call me a hoarder   , etc, etc, etc........

I can't believe I came across this machine, I was just browsing around the thrift shop and suddenly I could hear something softly calling my name. The soft voice was coming out of this pretty little cabinet so I stopped to take a closer look, then lo and behold, it was a vintage sewing machine calling to me from inside the little cabinet. O.K. so it didn't really happen like that  but almost
I understand. Fabric and embroidery patterns call me.

I love thrift stores, too.

What a pretty machine. Imagine the woman who got it brand new!! Must have been a joy to have one so decorative. I learned to sew on a similiar one.

thanks for sharing. ;-)

Well, it also came in this pretty little cabinet :D . I paid $150.00 and I don't know if it was too much but I didn't care---it was coming home with me
lol I wouldn't have cared either...it would have been coming home with me too.

What a beauty & what a find. I love thrift stores. Save lots of $$$$$ & never know what you will find...just like this. What a deal you got too. That has to be the most beautiful machine I have ever seen. I learned to sew on my great grandmother's treadle machine, but don't remember it looking anything like this one. Recently got my first FW & now just need to find a treadle to make my "collection" complete.
