I don't want to have to buy new glasses either. Your close-up reveals that the left lower half square is 1/8" or less away from the center of the pinwheel.
This is not a do-over. If you had cut off the point of that unit, then I would agree
with a little seam ripping, but you are being too hard on yourself.
Is this a quilt that you are submitting for a prize??
-congratulations on a good pinwheel block - Judy

In my class I learned to pin either side of the intersection before sewing....not pinning across the intersection. If the corners aren't spot on, then I take out a few stitches on each side after figuring which area was off and pin again before sewing that area. Another thing to consider: The edge of you blocks should not be trimmed, there should be a 1/4" border for joining so you do not lose the points.

I think it's fine. I could live with that (and have lived with things MUCH worse than that!)

When I do that square I press the seams open which seems to help for me!! However, I don't see a thing wrong with yours - beautiful work and don't be so hard on yourself!!

It looks GREAT!!!!! Stop messing with it and once you make more to go with it, it will look better to you and you will never know which block it is.
