Finally got my second block all set to put together and thought I would change it around before sewing. I think I like the 2nd block better, but didn't want to waste the 1st since I spent so much time on it. Could I alternate between the 2 blocks, or should I stick with one.

How did you get the outer blocks in the first to have the extra 1/4 inch so that the points won't be cut off when you join them to other blocks? (I mean the points on the green sections at 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, etc.
